FEVENT MÁS 2027 strengthens its international profile as a sister event and partner to FESQUA in Chile

FEVENT presence at the FESQUA 2026 opening ceremony marked a new milestone in the integration of the Brazilian and Chilean industries

The participation of FEVENT MÁS 2027 in FESQUA 2026—held in São Paulo—represented a significant step forward in the Chilean trade fair's internationalization strategy and in forging new ties among key players in the windows, doors, facades, glass, aluminum, and building envelope solutions sectors.

As FESQUA’s sister event and international partner in Chile, FEVENT attended the opening ceremony and carried out a packed schedule of meetings with trade associations, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and representatives of the Brazilian industry.

A key highlight of the visit was the consolidation of the partnership with AFEAL (the Brazilian National Association of Aluminum Window and Door Manufacturers). The association will play an active role in FEVENT MÁS 2027, participating in the exhibition area, the content program, and the Technical Committee for the event's International Seminar.

To gain further insight into the importance of this partnership, we spoke with Diego Hernández, Commercial Director of FEVENT MÁS 2027, who discusses the significance of this alliance and the opportunities it creates for Chile, Brazil, and all of Latin America.

1. ​What does it mean for FEVENT MÁS 2027 to become a sister event and partner to FESQUA in Chile?

It represents a major international endorsement for the development and consolidation of FEVENT. FESQUA is one of the leading industry gatherings in Latin America for windows, doors, facades, glass, and components; establishing this relationship allows us to connect Chile with a platform that boasts a long track record and regional renown.

Our goal is for FEVENT to serve as the industry's meeting point in Chile while simultaneously acting as a gateway to the Chilean and South American markets. This alliance allows us to share experiences, forge ties between companies, and promote ongoing collaboration between both trade shows, while respecting the unique identity and market leadership of each.

More than just a relationship between two events, we are building a bridge of cooperation between the industries of Brazil and Chile.

2. ​How significant was FEVENT’s presence at the FESQUA 2026 opening ceremony?

It was a moment of immense institutional importance for us. Attending the FESQUA opening ceremony meant sharing a space with government officials, industry association leaders, business executives, and representatives from one of the region's most advanced and dynamic industries.

FEVENT’s presence at the event was also a tangible sign of the international recognition our project is gaining. We attended not merely as visitors, but as representatives of a Chilean trade show seeking to play an active role in the Latin American integration of the sector.

Furthermore, during the opening day, we formalized our engagement with AFEAL, strengthening a relationship that will enable the participation of key Brazilian companies and specialists in FEVENT MÁS 2027. It was, without a doubt, a milestone that reaffirmed the trust and collaborative effort we are building.

3. What opportunities does this alliance create for Brazilian and Chilean companies?

It opens up very concrete opportunities in commercial, technical, and institutional areas. For Brazilian companies, FEVENT offers a specialized platform to enter, establish a position in, or expand their presence within the Chilean market, as well as to build relationships with distributors, construction firms, architects, specifiers, real estate developers, and professionals involved in building envelopes.

For Chilean companies, this alliance facilitates access to new technologies, systems, components, and expertise developed in Brazil—a country boasting a highly specialized industry with immense production capacity.

We want FEVENT to be a space where companies can showcase their solutions, identify strategic partners, close business deals, and discover the new trends transforming the construction industry. 4. ​How will the participation of Brazil and AFEAL in FEVENT MÁS 2027 take shape?

We are working to ensure Brazil has a significant and representative presence at FEVENT MÁS 2027. AFEAL—which has been driving quality and development in the aluminum fenestration industry since 1983—will play a crucial role in this participation.

The association brings together fenestration manufacturers, system developers, distributors, and suppliers of accessories and solutions—including silicones, tapes, screws, aluminum composite materials, anodizing services, and other specialties. Its presence across 16 Brazilian states demonstrates its reach and representative status within the industry.

AFEAL will participate with a corporate space designed to connect its member companies with the Chilean market. Additionally, it will join the Technical Committee for the FEVENT 2027 International Seminar and contribute Brazilian specialists and speakers, bringing expertise, technical knowledge, and an international perspective to the sector's key challenges.

We hope this participation translates into a substantial business delegation and an agenda of meetings and activities that strengthens ties between both markets.

5. ​What international reach does FEVENT MÁS 2027 aim to achieve through these types of alliances?

Our vision is to position FEVENT as the leading specialized platform for the sector in Chile and as a benchmark event for Latin America. To achieve this, we are building alliances with associations, chambers of commerce, academic institutions, technical bodies, public agencies, and international trade fairs.

The relationship with FESQUA and AFEAL is fundamental to this strategy, as it connects FEVENT with one of the region's most important markets and allows us to incorporate top-tier experience, innovation, and technical knowledge.

Over the course of three days, FEVENT MÁS 2027 will bring together companies, professionals, authorities, associations, and specialists from various countries. Our goal is to exceed 150 exhibitors, welcome more than 15,000 trade visitors, and host representatives from over 15 countries. We want participants to find real business opportunities, avenues for professional development, and possibilities for international cooperation. The partnership with FESQUA demonstrates that FEVENT is moving forward with a long-term vision: uniting markets, fostering innovation, and contributing to the development of an industry that is more modern, efficient, and sustainable.
