Marco Enrique Castro and Bastián Daroch Salazar represented FEVENT in São Paulo, inviting manufacturers, suppliers, and key figures in the Brazilian industry to visit Chile and participate in the 2027 edition.

As part of its internationalization strategy, FEVENT MÁS 2027 executed an intensive business and institutional agenda during its participation in FESQUA 2026, one of Latin America's most important gatherings for the window, door, façade, glass, aluminum, and component industries.

The FEVENT delegation consisted of Marco Enrique Castro, Head of Business Development and New Business, and Bastián Daroch Salazar, Business Executive. They toured the trade fair, held meetings with industry representatives, and visited more than 200 exhibiting companies.

During these meetings, the team presented the FEVENT MÁS 2027 project and invited Brazilian manufacturers, suppliers, associations, and specialists to visit Chile and participate as exhibitors, sponsors, professional delegations, and speakers at the International Seminar.

The agenda made it possible to identify new collaboration opportunities, explore technologies and solutions with potential for the Chilean market, and strengthen ties between the industries of both countries.

To learn about the key outcomes of this trade mission, we spoke with Marco Enrique Castro, who discussed the strategic importance of the Brazilian market and the role FEVENT aims to play as a regional connection platform.

1. What was the main objective of FEVENT MÁS 2027’s participation in FESQUA?

Our primary goal was to present FEVENT directly to the Brazilian industry and build trusting relationships with the companies, associations, and professionals that make up this important market.

Over the course of several days, Bastián Daroch and I carried out an intensive schedule of meetings and tours of the trade fair. We visited over 200 companies to introduce them to the features of FEVENT MÁS 2027, explain the opportunities offered by the Chilean market, and formally invite them to participate in our event.

It was not merely a matter of providing commercial information. We sought to listen to the companies, learn about their solutions, understand their internationalization needs, and evaluate how FEVENT could facilitate their entry into or expansion within Chile. This face-to-face engagement is fundamental to building serious, long-term business relationships.

2. Why is Brazil a strategic market for Chile and for FEVENT MÁS 2027?

Brazil is an industrial powerhouse in Latin America, boasting a highly developed ecosystem in manufacturing, technology, systems, components, and solutions for windows, doors, facades, glass, and aluminum.

For Chile, regional proximity and the complementary nature of the two markets open up significant opportunities. Brazilian companies bring experience, innovation, production capacity, and solutions capable of meeting the new demands of the Chilean construction sector—particularly regarding energy efficiency, thermal performance, industrialization, quality, and sustainability.

At the same time, Chile represents an attractive platform for companies looking to expand their international presence and build relationships with distributors, construction firms, architects, specifiers, real estate developers, and industry professionals.

That is why we want Brazil to play a leading role at FEVENT MÁS 2027. Our goal is to facilitate this connection and turn institutional relationships into concrete opportunities for collaboration and business.

3. What kind of reception did you receive from the companies exhibiting at FESQUA?

The reception was very positive. We found an industry open to learning about Chile and genuinely interested in exploring new business opportunities in our country.

Many companies appreciated the fact that the FEVENT team traveled directly to São Paulo to meet with them, view their products, and present the project in person. They also expressed interest in understanding the characteristics of the Chilean market, the terms of participation, and the profile of the professionals expected to attend the trade fair. During the meetings, we were able to speak with manufacturers of aluminum joinery and systems developers, as well as producers of glass, facades, profiles, hardware, machinery, automation systems, seals, silicones, aluminum composite materials, and various complementary solutions.

In addition to business discussions, we established contacts with associations, institutional representatives, and specialists who can contribute to FEVENT’s technical program. We returned to Chile with an extensive network of contacts and the challenge of advancing each of these conversations through follow-up meetings.

4. What was the work with Bastián Daroch like during the trade fair?

It was a very intense, coordinated, and results-oriented effort. Bastián and I organized a schedule that allowed us to reach as many companies as possible, combining pre-arranged meetings with direct visits to the exhibition stands.

Our goal was for every conversation to serve as a serious, personalized invitation. We presented FEVENT’s growth, its value proposition, the visitor profile, exhibition and sponsorship opportunities, and the possibility of participating in the International Seminar through speakers and technical content.

Visiting over 200 companies required a major logistical effort, but it also gave us a much more comprehensive view of the Brazilian industry, allowing us to spot trends and identify solutions that could be particularly interesting for the Chilean market.

This fieldwork was invaluable, as it allowed us to represent FEVENT in an approachable, professional, and proactive manner. Each meeting was an opportunity to position Chile as a business destination and FEVENT as a specialized platform for connecting the two markets.

5. What are the next steps following this trade mission to Brazil?

Now begins a crucial phase: transforming the contacts we made into concrete relationships and participation. We are conducting personalized follow-ups, sending out business information, and scheduling further meetings with interested companies.

We will also continue to strengthen our partnerships with Brazilian organizations—particularly AFEAL (the Brazilian National Association of Aluminum Window and Door Manufacturers)—which will play a key role in FEVENT MÁS 2027 and the development of its International Seminar.

We look forward to welcoming a significant Brazilian delegation to Santiago, comprising companies, industry association leaders, specialists, and professionals. We want them to showcase their technologies, network with buyers and key players in the Chilean market, participate in technical activities, and generate new business opportunities.

This mission to FESQUA was a highly significant step, but it is part of a broader international initiative. Our goal is for FEVENT to bring together the region's key industry players in Chile and establish itself as a hub for innovation, knowledge sharing, and business.

A results-oriented trade mission

The presence of Marco Enrique Castro and Bastián Daroch Salazar at FESQUA helped position FEVENT MÁS 2027 before more than 200 companies, expand its international network, and reinforce the invitation for the Brazilian industry to play a leading role in the upcoming edition.

This trade agenda reaffirms FEVENT’s commitment to regional integration and to creating new opportunities for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, professionals, and organizations linked to the building envelope industry.

With Brazil as one of its priority markets, FEVENT MÁS 2027 continues to advance its goal of connecting Chile with the sector's leading industries and international key players.

FEVENT MÁS 2027 will take place on October 27, 28, and 29, 2027, at Espacio Riesco in Santiago, Chile.
